Scout Sunday 2021 had to be celebrated a bit differently this year thanks to the Covid pandemic. Amid the governor’s lockdowns and meeting restrictions, our Troop sponsor, Williamsburg United Methodist Church had to adjust the way they worship as they endeavor to continue to meet and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a result of the lockdowns the church has been doing parking lot worship at 4PM on Sundays. Senior Pastor Dave Rochford invited Mr. Reeves to join the parking lot worship service this year to give the church a quick update on the health and progress of the Scouting program.
Mr. Reeves also taped a short video for the church to be used on the WUMC website and Facebook page.
