Dr. Ray Rodriguez, MD, the Troop 103 ASM for First Year Program was awarded the District Award of Merit for his work with the Troop, his work as the Chapter Advisor for the Piankatank Chapter of the Wahunsenakah Lodge of the Order of the Arrow, his work as a Council Medical professional supporting council level events such as the Wood Badge course and OA service weekends, and for his work with the National Jamboree medical professional staff. Dr. Ray’s contributions at multiple levels do not go un-noticed and he is deserving of this recognition. Congratulations Dr. Ray!
Scoutmaster Don Reeves was also recently awarded the Historic Triangle District’s Unit Leader award for his work as the Scoutmaster of Troop 103, his work as the Chairman of the council’s Wood Badge Association, and his work as the most recent Course Director for the CVC’s Wood Badge Course 15-595-2023 that finished its second course weekend last fall.
