Troop 103 started the month of June off with a bang……literally!!!
The Troop held its bi-annual Great American Shot Out (GASO) and Campout the first weekend in June. Scouts got to shoot at clays with a variety of styles and gauges of shotgun as the Troop had four clay traps setup and going strong all day long on Saturday. Also on the range, Scouts got to fire black powder rifles, and .22 rifles as part of the overall GASO Day. We finished off Saturday with an amazing Campfire program and then hiked out of the campsite by 10am on Sunday morning. We had great weather and a great time being in the woods and having fun!
Many thanks to all of our adult leaders and adult volunteers who came out on Saturday to setup and help run the three ranges!!! We greatly appreciate all of your time and energy spent making this year’s GASO such a success!!!
