Another year and another 1st Place Christmas float for Troop 103!!!

The Scouts from Troop 103 did it again this year! The Scouts built and decorated their Christmas “Jingle All The Way” themed float which placed 1st in the Youth-Built category once again this year in the Williamsburg Christmas Parade!!!!!

Congratulations to our Scouts for such wonderful work again this year nailing, painting, screwing, pounding, painting, cutting, ripping, painting, wrapping, painting, stapling, painting, tacking, stacking, sawing, painting, and decorating!!!!!! Did I mention the painting!!! You all did fantastic this year! Many thanks go out to the Smith Family at Weather Crafters for hosting the Troop float building once again this year! Many many thanks to Mr. Etchberger for all of his hard work collecting and coordinating resources and equipment necessary to make the float building successful for the Scouts. Many thanks to our Parents and Leaders that volunteered their time and energy to assist over the 3 nights of float building while ensuring our Scouts operated safely and did’t get injured in the process! Thank you to our Hospitality Committee led by Mrs. Salinas that provided 3 nights of fantastic meals and desserts to keep us going!

Congratulations once again and great job by all involved! What a way to end our 95th Anniversary Year full of events and adventures!
